Ford Motor Company "Your job as a Ford Salesman" training kit, around 1961.

Collection contains "Your Job As A Ford Salesman" salesman training kit, including a guide (56 pgs) accompanied by three 33.33 rpm sound discs in original sleeves, with slipcase.Topics include the salesman's job, business prospecting, employing "Bird Dogs" (buyer locators), qualifying prospects, demonstrating vehicles, and closing sales. There are five additional 33.33 rpm sound discs in the same series, all regarding the sale of used cars, including interviews conducted with Ford dealers. Preservation copies of the sound disks have not yet been prepared for patron use. Acquired as part of the John W. Hartman Center for Sales, Advertising & Marketing History.
